A COW had to be rescued by firefighters after it became stuck near Malpas on Sunday (February 5) afternoon.
Fire crews from Malpas and Lymm were called out to a farm in Whitchurch Road, Tushingham after the animal got stuck next to a shed on farmland.
The callout came shortly before 5.30pm.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews rescued a cow which had become stuck between structures on farmland in Tushingham, near Malpas.
"Firefighters helped to remove a non-structural wall of a shed to free the cow and hand it into the care of the attending vet to be checked over."
The teams included a rope rescue unit and aerial ladder platform from Lymm and a specialist animal rescue unit from Bollington.
