EUROVISION star Sam Ryder will be wowing people as when he performs at a popular music festival in Whitchurch this summer.
The singer, who came second in Eurovision in 2022 singing the song 'Space Man', will be performing at Alderfest at Alderford Lake in Tilstock Road on Saturday, July 1.
The star first became known through TikTok during the first lockdown in 2020 and he was nominated for Best New Artist at the Brit Awards 2023.
Mr Ryder will be joining the boyband, McFly at the popular festival this summer.Alderford Lake sales and marketing manager, Zoe Watson said they are delighted to be having him perform.
She said: "We are super excited, we saw him on the Brits on Saturday so we know he can deliver an amazing performance.
"We are really excited to have him."
Zoe added: "I think with McFly and Sam Ryder, you can't really ask for much more.
"We have got a couple more big names to come. So, it is working out to be a really good weekend."
Zoe said that people in Whitchurch have been delighted with the announcement.
She explained: "The reaction has been really really positive.
"It seems he is very well liked, so a lot of people are keen to get down and see him come to Whitchurch."

More people have contacted the lake about tickets since it announced the Eurovision star would be performing.
"There has been a good reaction from customers and people are keen to just find out about thew whole lineup," Zoe explained.
"We are going to keep releasing names and hopefully we will see the ticket sales reach peak level."
By having big names perform in the festival, the organisers hope to make it bigger and better each year.
Zoe said: "That is what we are hoping to do.
"We had Scouting for Girls headlining last year and it was amazing.
"We are trying to keep that momentum going. We have got the two days this year, so hopefully that will add to the excitement.
"We are all buzzing here in Alderford for McFly to come and now Sam Ryder as well."
