A MEMBER of a popular boy band will be wowing fans as he becomes the latest big name to join the bill for a music festival in Whitchurch this summer.
JLS member Aston Merrygold will be joining McFly and Sam Ryder to perform in Alderfest by Alderford Lake in Tilstock Road on Saturday, July 1.
Mr Merrygold became first known after coming second with JLS in The X Factor in 2008 and has gone on to have a solo career and the lake is excited to be having him perform.

Sales and marketing manager Zoe Watson, said: "We are delighted to be having him.
"A lot of us were JLS fans back in the day, so we are all very excited to see him and his new songs."
The news of Mr Merrygold performing in the popular festival has been well received by many people.
Zoe added: "It has been a really positive reaction to both Sam Ryder and Aston Merrygold.
"We are excited to keep releasing big names.
"Tickets are selling really well, so we are happy with that."
Zoe confirmed that there will be more big names which the organisers will be announcing over the next few weeks.
She said: "We have still got a few names to announce.
"That will be over the next couple of weeks.
"We are super excited to have the big names come in."
