A VEHICLE on fire in a Whitchurch car park on Tuesday evening led to town firefighters being called out.
One crew from Whitchurch was sent to the car park in Green End shortly before 5.40pm after reports of a vehicle on fire.
Shropshire firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose-reel jet to put out the fire.
A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said: “One saloon vehicle severely damaged by fire in car park.
“Fire extinguished by crews using one hose reel jet.”
A message was sent to SFRS control at around 6pm to confirm no further assistance was needed.
