THE director of a farm supply shop near Whitchurch has thanked its customers for support after raising £900 for two charities.
Sherratt Farms Supplies in Whixall confirmed that West Midlands Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Support received £450 each.
The money was raised through selling cake, crumble and other snacks and coffee mornings.
Director, Chloe Jones thanked customers for helping them raise the money and explained why she chose to give money to Macmillan Cancer Support and West Midlands Ambulance Service.

She said: "Thank you to all our customers who supported us with cake sales and other events over the past few months.
"Whixall is very rural and the air ambulance always there when you need it.
"Hopefully you never need it, but one day you might.
"It is a very good charity to continue to support.
"Whixall is quite a difficult place to get to so the air ambulance is the best form of transport on occasions where you would need it."
The farm supply shop director was motivated to help Macmillan because cancer is a disease which affects many families..
She said: "Everybody knows or knew of someone who has struggled with cancer.
"We wanted to do it on a more personal level with the support.
"It is such a good charity to be honest.
"West Midlands Air Ambulance and Macmillan are close to our hearts and we will try and do something for them every year."
The fundraising campaign started in Advent last year and Chloe was pleased with the generosity of people in the village..
She said: "People are always very generous.
"They like to support good charities."
The Sherratt director said the store would be tasking part in future event s in the future.
Chloe said: "We are hoping to potentially organise fundraisers for getting a defribulator machine.
"We are hoping to put one in near the store.
"Given how rural we are, I think it would be appreciated in the local area.
"We haven't got an dates set at the moment, but we will be organising it in due course."
