A POPULAR food chain restaurant in Whitchurch has received the top hygiene rating it can.
McDonald’s, which is based on the A41, has had a five hygiene rating confirmed by the Food Standards’s Agency.
The rating was given on Wednesday, February 22.
Meanwhile, the Glass House Tearoom, at The Follies near Wem, was also confirmed to be hitting the highest food standards with a rating of five.

The tearoom – in Weston-under-Redcastle – opens from 10am until 5pm during open season and people do not need to pay for entry to the Follies to use the tearoom.
It serves hot drinks, paninis and cakes.
