FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a cat from trapped in Wem this morning, Saturday, March 4.
At 9.47am this morning, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) responded to an incident classified as Animal Rescue in High Street, Wem.
A fire appliance was the mobilised at the scene.

A spokesperson from SFRS: "Attending crews used small gear to release the cat from the entrapment."
A stop signal confirming no further assistance was needed was sent to control at 10.12am.
