A MAN charged with trying to incite a girl under 16 to engage in sexual activity will appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court next month.
Anthony Allen, 28 and of Cae Daniel in Rhosllanerchrugog, Wrexham, did not enter a plea at Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 14.
Allen faces four charges which are alleged to have taken place between August 7 and September 7, 2018 in Whitchurch.
He is accused of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child called Ruby, who was in fact an adult posing as a decoy.

He faces two charges of being an adult attempting to cause/incite a girl 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity by penetration.
Allen faces a fourth charge of arranging the commission of a child sex abuse offence when trying to set up a meeting.
He will now appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Tuesday, April 11 where he is expected to enter a plea.
He was released on unconditional bail.
