Firefighters tackled a fire that completely destroyed a caravan in Whitchurch.
Crews from Wem and Whitchurch rushed to Wayland Road after receiving a call reporting a fire shortly before 3pm on Saturday (March 18).
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 2.54pm on Saturday, March 18, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Caravan Fire in Whitchurch. Two fire appliances were mobilised from Wem and Whitchurch.
“One caravan 100 per cent destroyed by fire, crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish fire.”
The fire service, which spent almost 15 minutes at the scene, has not revealed how the fire started.
