THE owners of a hotel and wedding venue near Whitchurch have spoken of their delight at being the location for a new BBC series.
Phil and Susie Godsal own Iscoyd Park and held the screening of the opening episode for the brand new show Reunion Hotel, which is presented by One Show star, Alex Jones, in the hotel on Monday, March 20.
The show was filmed in the hotel and will be airing for viewers on Thursday, April 6 and Mr and Mrs Godsal were pleased with the experience.
Mr Godsal said: "It is really good. We are a private house, country house wedding and events venue.
"This is quite a different thing to do."

Mrs Godsal added: "It is really nice having the diversity for staff.
"It is a refreshing change for everyone.
"There is a really lovely crew and they are very respectful of the house.
"They are a pleasure to work with and it is lovely having them around."
The Iscoyd Park owners spoke highly of Alex Jones.
Mr Godsal explained: "She is really nice to have around, really friendly and puts everyone at ease.
"She is a lovely person to have presenting it and I think she has done a fantastic job. She is just right for the program."
The screening of the first episode showed some emotive scenes but Mrs Godsal said the hotel has held plenty of emotional events of its own over the years.
She explained: "We are proud to be part of it.
"Everything we do here is quite emotional.
"Weddings are emotional.
"People come here for receptions after funerals.
"Everything we do is around families getting together and emotions.
"It fits in quite well with what we do anyway."

Reunion Hotel is produced by Caernarfon based company Darlun and is based on S4C Welsh language series Gwesty Aduniad (Reunion Hotel) which is also filmed Iscoyd Park and Mr and Mrs Godsal believe it will be helpful for showcasing Wales to audiences across the UK.
Mr Godsal said: "I think it is really exciting we have got a program like this in Wales.
"It is good for North Wales as well. North Wales needs more of this.
"We very much support promoting what Wales has to offer."
Reunion Hotel broadcasts on Thursday April 6 on BBC One Wales and BBC Two at 8pm.
