MARBURY Merry Days will be returning this summer with an English Civil War re-enactment.
The two-day country fair will take place on Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14.
The event will take place in a field adjacent to St Michael and All Angels Parish Church and Marbury Big Mere.
The gates will open at 12.30pm and an event spokesperson said there will be plenty for everyone to see.

They said: "Following our incredibly successful Merry Days last year, we’re very much looking forward to welcoming new visitors as well as our regular visitors to our traditional two-day country fair.
"The main attraction this year is The Sealed Knot, who will bring the English Civil War conflict to life with drill displays, skirmishes and a living history settlement.
"Other attractions and events include Pinxton Puppets, grand draw, a plant stall and cake stall, tombola, bric-a-brac and book stalls, craft and gift fair and side shows.
"There will be refreshments, along with GLOs Dance Troupe, Maypole dancing, the Wirral Pipe Band, a dog show, Gun Dog Scurry, Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, a children's activity area, bouncy castles, a model flying display, a floral display in the church, trade stands, classic cars and vintage tractors, a cygnet bar and a climbing wall.
"There will also be a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Hawker Hurricane flypast on the Saturday."
All proceeds will go towards the upkeep of St. Michael and All Angels Parish Church in Marbury.
Tickets are £6 for adults and £1 for under-16s, though under-16s can get in for free if they are with an adult.
