A WHITCHURCH business owner has thanked her customers for support after reaching her sixth year trading.
Sharron Marriott has owned homeware business, Make Your House a Home, in the Watergate Arcade since 2017.
Sharron made the decision to launch her own business after working for a company for 23 years.
She explained: "It was quite a leap of faith to open it in the first place.
"I left the company which I worked with for 23 years and to go it alone is quite something to do.
"With the Covid-19 pandemic, it is quite an achievement.
"I am looking forward to my seventh year of trading."

The Make Your House a Home owner praised people in Whitchurch for the support she has received since running her store.
Sharron said: "The local community around here are lovely. The 'shop local' attitude is very good.
"We have had a lot of new people move into the area and people are shopping in the town because there are so many independents.
"And there are a lot of interesting things happening this year with new developments and housing.
"It was a good place to open a shop."
Sharron added: "I'd like to thank the local community for their support. Without them, I would not be here."
Many events will be taking place in the town this spring and summer, and Sharron is hoping to benefit.
She said: "Hopefully with the coronation of King Charles III there will be a lot of people around celebrating that. That might be good.
"The summer is always quite a good period as we get a lot of holidaymakers.
"Not long after that we will be looking forward to Christmas again.
"I just have to keep planning forward for the next thing which is happening."
