A WOMAN in Whitchurch has been arrested on suspicion of assault following reports of a domestic incident.
The woman was arrested over the weekend and interviewed by police.
In an unrelated incident, a man was arrested by Whitchurch Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) and North Shropshire Patrol officers on Sunday, March 26 for public order offences and assault.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "Overnight officers in North Shropshire were called to an incident in Whitchurch following a report of a domestic.

"A female has been arrested for an assault and is currently in custody where she will be interviewed today (Sunday).
"This morning North Shropshire Patrol officers alongside Whitchurch SNT have arrested a male for public order offences and an unrelated assault that has occurred in the town.

"He is also awaiting an interview in custody whilst enquiries are ongoing in relation to these incidents."
