A WHITCHURCH music artist has spoken of her delight after returning to her hometown to perform live.

Sarah Paul (nee Birch) - better known as Madam Misfit - lives in Lincolnshire, but performed in Percy's Cafe Bar in Watergate on Friday, April 14.

The former RAF clarinettest performs chaphop, a genre that combines hiphop with steampunk subculture and stereotypical English obsessions like tea and cricket.

Plenty of friends and family came to see, her perform and Sarah was delighted with the experience.
