WHITCHURCH Town Council has confirmed that the Civic Centre is going to be open to the town's most vulnerable for the coronation of King Charles.
Doors will open at 10.30am on Saturday, May 6 and the town council hopes people looking for company will pop down to watch the coronation which will be shown live on a large screen in the Civic Centre which will serve as a warm hub.
Places are limited and it will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

Town clerk, Mike McDonald said: "The countdown to the Whitchurch coronation weekender.
"For those in our community who would appreciate some company, a cuppa and a friendly chat, we will be screening the pomp and ceremony of the coronation live from Westminster Abbey on our large screen in the Edward German Room at the Civic Centre on Saturday, May 6.
"Doors will open at 10.30am, ready for the coronation itself from 11am until 2pm approximately.
