POSTBOXES in Whitchurch have been 'yarn-bombed' by the town's WI as part of the celebrations for the upcoming coronation of King Charles.
The postboxes in Green End were covered in Royal-themed yarns, featuring the King himself, Queen Camilla, tiny crowns, Beefeaters and much more.
The Whitchurch WI confirmed that the yarn bombs have been well received in the town.
Whitchurch WI member Shirley Evanson said: "Everyone is enjoying them, including the children are as well.
"It was done by a group of WI members who are in the craft club. We have done it before, we did it for a food festival a few years ago.
"We really enjoyed it and wanted to brighten the town up."
Shirley confirmed that the Whitchurch WI would be involved in other coronation-related events over the coming weekend.
