A CONCERT featuring songs from Disney, the Royal Shakespeare Company and many more will be taking place in Whitchurch this month.
Whitchurch Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (WAODS) will be holding its concert 'Musically 3' in the Civic Centre in High Street on Thursday, May 18 and Friday, May 19, with the curtain up at 7.30pm.
They will also hold a concert on Saturday, May 20 with a 6.30pm start.
The concerts suitable for all ages from eight to 80 and will feature songs from Disney, Rogers and Hammerstein, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s productions of Matilda the Musical and Les Misérables, and many other shows.

The society hopes to use the concert to raise funds ahead of its centenary celebrations in 2024 and it has seen new members join recently.
Society and production team member, Lee Halliwell-Williams said: "We have been delighted that a number of new adult and junior members have joined the society and all three of the production team have been delighted by the way they have embraced being full and active members of the society as well of course blowing us away with their performances."
A WAODS spokesperson said tickets could be bought online or in the Civic Centre.

They said: "The concert takes place at Whitchurch Civic Centre on Thursday, May 18 and Friday, May 19 with curtain up at 7.30pm, and on Saturday, May 20 at 6.30pm, which is a new departure for the society to see if it works better for families of all ages.
"As well as traditional theatre-style seating there will also be some cabaret-style seating, to reflect the relaxed nature of the concert."
Tickets £12 each can be purchased via the Hub in Whitchurch Civic Centre, online via the society website www.waods.net (via the Box Office Tab) or on the door, 30 minutes before the start of the performance.
