FIREFIGHTERS from different bases across Shropshire have been called to a barn fire outside Whitchurch on Sunday afternoon.
The incident command unit, the incident support unit, the light pumping unit and the water carrier were all mobilised from stations across north and central Shropshire.
This included firefighters from Baschurch, Bridgnorth, Hodnet, Market Drayton, Shrewsbury, Telford and Whitchurch.
The fire has also called for operations, hazmat and safety officers to be in attendance to oversee the operation to bring the fire of a barn measuring 80 by 50 metres in Steel Heath

A stop message has not yet been sent to Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) control, meaning more assistance from other stations may be needed.
An SFRS spokesman said: “Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.”
