A WHITCHURCH woman who died on Thursday could not be saved, according to West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS).
The woman died at a property in George Street, off Egerton Road, close to the town centre, at around 12.45pm.
A WMAS spokesman confirm that both a land ambulance and the air ambulance were sent tot her scene but the patient could not be saved.
They said: “We were called at 12.38pm to a medical emergency at a private address in George Street, Alport in Whitchurch.
“One ambulance and the Midland Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.
“Upon arrival we found a woman.
“Unfortunately, it was clear that nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
