TWO bullocks stuck in a slurry pit near Ellesmere has led to firefighters being called out on Friday.
At 8.29am on Friday, June 16, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call reporting an incident classified as animal rescue.

Three fire engines including a rescue tender were mobilised from Ellesmere and Wellington and an operations officer was in attendance.
A vet was also at the scene.

The bullocks were safely rescued using a farm tractor and strops with veterinary supervision.
The stop message was received at 10.03 am.
