Camel racing provided a highlight for visitors to a family fun day near Whitchurch.
The Great North Shropshire Camel Races were held in Calverhall as part of the annual Calverhall Family Day on Sunday, June 25.
In addition to the camel races, visitors were able to enjoy food and drink and a fun dog show.

The camel racing was put on by Warwickshire company, Joseph's Amazing Camels.
Daisy Fossett from Joseph's Amazing Camels was pleased to be at the event.
She said: "This is the first time we have ever been to Calverhall and we are very happy to be here.
"We have travelled from Warwickshire.
"We have had an audience around us all day and we had a very packed crowd."
She added: "We have done camel racing all around the country for the last 20 years.
"We were actually in Manchester today and here today, so we are all over the place."
Daisy spoke about the company being the only one in the UK to put on camel racing.
She explained: "We are the only ones who do it in the UK.
"It is great fun and the audience love it and have a great time.
"So that is what matters.
"Two of our camels were born in the UK and our other one comes from Spain.
"We have had camels from all over the place including Spain, Hungary and Bulgaria."
Event organiser Tilly Dobbs was pleased with how the event went.
She said: "We are so lucky with how many people did come.
"It is absolutely packed and we are really chuffed.
"This is the first time we have had camels, the family day has been going for 30 years.
"It had a bit of a lapse due to Covid-19.
"We wanted to think of something a bit different and get it galvanised again.
"And so we thought camels."
Tilly mentioned that the presence of the camels had been well received by visitors.
She added: "People were excited about it.

"I think people couldn't believe that it was real."
Tilly was pleased with the impact the event has on Calverhall.
She said: "We have got a really good community in Calverhall.
"This is great to get people back together again."
