HOLIDAYMAKERS looking for a gentle water break can now book one from a north Shropshire marina.
For the first time ever, canal boat hire company Anglo Welsh is offering two-night breaks on the Llangollen Canal, from its canal boat hire bases at Whixall, near Whitchurch and also at Trevor in Wrexham.
Emma Lovell, reservations manager for Anglo Welsh, said the two-night offer is perfect for anyone looking for a short break and offers plenty of choice for destinations.
She said: “Whether you are time-short and just looking for 48 hours away, or a newcomer to canal boat holidays wanting to test the waters, our new two-night deals are a great way to get afloat.
“On a two-night break from Trevor on the Llangollen Canal in Wrexham, boaters can head to Ellesmere, in the heart of the ‘Shropshire Lake District’.
