A spokesperson said: "This is a detached brick built building formerly used as a telephone exchange which has potential for a number of uses subject to any necessary Local Authority consents.
"The building is surrounded by grass and a mixture of fencing and hedging and overlooks the countryside at the rear.
"The building is approached though a metal gate and a hard standing area provides off road parking."
The former telephone exchange, which does not have a chain, is now available for sale through the modern method of auction in which potential buyers make an offer over a period of time, rather than in a live auction.
Barbers, the agency advertising the property, has received advice indicating that there is access to mains electricity.
