NEARLY half of an out house was destroyed by fire in north Shropshire on Monday evening.
Firefighters from Prees, Market Drayton and Hodnet were called to Barns Lane in Marchamley shortly before 7.10pm.
They were joined by a Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) operations officer, with a service spokesman explaining the work that was carried out.
They said: “This incident involved one out house which was 45 per cent destroyed by fire.
“Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and small gear.”
A stop message, meaning no further assistance from other SFRS teams was needed, was sent to control at around 8.45pm.
