A FORMER Wem man will be sentenced next month after he admitted stalking.
Alexander Newton, 33 pleaded guilty to stalking a woman to the point that she feared violence would be used against her when he appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court sitting in Telford on Friday, September 22.
He had previously denied the offence which happened on May 1 and June 16, this year, and also a charge of causing damage to a property.
Mr Recorder Christopher Millington KC said he would adjourn for sentencing on Friday, October 10.
He added that he would allow the criminal damage charge to lie on file.
Newtown was living at Grove Court, Wem at the time of the offences, but is currently at HMP Hewell in Redditch and was remanded in custody.
