FLOOD alerts remain in place around Whitchurch today (Monday, October 23) following a weekend of heavy rainfall.
According to Natural Resources Wales, there are alerts on the River Dee at Bangor-on-Dee, as well as the Lower Dee Catchment, which includes tributaries near Whitchurch.
NRW removed the flood warning for Bangor-on-Dee shortly before 11am when the river was 14.022m and falling.

Following a steep rise on Friday, the river peaked at around 16m at midnight on Saturday.
Referring to the catchment area, a spokesperson said: "River levels are expected to be above normal.
"Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected.
"We will continue to monitor the situation."
