WHITCHURCH Alport Football Club has submitted plans for to change its dressing room facilities with Shropshire Council.
The club, whose Yockings Park ground is in Black Park Road, has applied for an amendment to approved planning permission for an application from 2017 to build a two-storey changing room facility with offices and meetings room.

This was approved in 2017 by Shropshire Council, despite some objection from a nearby resident, but now the club is hoping to build a single-story facility instead.
The club’s application to the council shows that the single-storey building will be extended further along the pitch and will encompass some of the existing area approved in 2017.
Consultation on the application is open until Tuesday, December 5 and a decision is expected in early January.
