The Whitchurch Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club enjoyed VIP treatment at Whitchurch Alport Football Club on their second annual visit.
The club members received a warm reception as they were applauded off the pitch following a dignified guard of honour ceremony.
A spokesperson said: “A great afternoon was had as they had a guard of honour on the pitch before being led off with applause from everyone in the ground.”

In a show of support for the poppy appeal, the football club also successfully sold poppy badges, contributing over £200 to the charitable cause.
Club members Rose Snell and Bob Moffit were seen presenting George Carpenter with his man of the match award.
The event not only celebrated camaraderie but also underscored the club's commitment to honouring and supporting veterans.
