A PREES woman will find out her sentence for defrauding a business after she changed her plea at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
Tracie Brookes, 56 and of Mill Street, changed her plea at Shrewsbury Crown Court to one charge of fraud by false presentation on Tuesday, December 12.
Brookes, a former manager at Prees Heath Forest Nursery, was accused of stealing a total of £30,934.70 between October 1, 2015, and May 31, 2018, by moving money from business accounts to her own personal accounts.
She had originally pleaded not guilty to the offence when she appeared at Telford Magistrates Court in February 2020.
Brookes will now be sentenced for the offence almost four years on from her original court appearance on Friday, February 2.
