WEM police are appealing for CCTV footage after a BMW was stolen in a car key burglary incident in Wem.
Wem Safer Neighbourhood Team are investigating a car key burglary that took place on Sunday, January 21, between 2am and 2.30am in Somerset Way.
Car key burglary sees criminals break into a home with the specific aim of removing car keys and stealing a car.
A spokesperson for the police posted on Neighbourhood Matters, a police website: “We are investigating a reported car key burglary in Somerset Way, Wem and we want to reassure the community we are doing all that we can to trace those responsible.
“We are appealing for CCTV in the area of between 02:00am and 02:30am on Sunday where a white BMW has been taken from a property.
“If anyone has CCTV in this area for this time we would like to hear from you."
