A FORMER Whitchurch man caught in a decoy sting could face jail when he is sentenced at Shrewsbury Crown Court next month.
Anthony Allen, of Cae Daniel in Rhosllanerchrugog, Wrexham, pleaded guilty to four charges which took place between August 7 and September 7, 2018 in Whitchurch.
He admitted engaging in sexual communication with a child who was, in fact, an adult posing as a decoy.

Allen also admitted two charges of being an adult attempting to cause/incite a girl aged 13 to 15 in sexual activity by penetration.

He also admitted a fourth charge of arranging the commission of a child sex abuse offence when trying to set up a meeting.
Record J Taylor told the defendant that he would be sentenced on Friday, April 5 and that ‘all options were open to me including an immediate custodial sentence’.
A mental health report was also ordered for the defendant.
