THE night sky over north Shropshire is set to filled with the sounds of helicopters, according to RAF Shawbury.
The military base, close to Wem, took to social media to confirm that night flying is set to resume on Monday, March 25 for a period of seven to eight weeks.
A request for patience with the noise created from the helicopters was also made.

A spokesman said: “The next period of night flying at RAF Shawbury will start on March 25, 2024 and will continue until May 9, 2024.
“Flying can normally be anticipated on Monday to Thursday evenings and we appreciate your tolerance of this essential training.”
The helicopters are expected to be heard of much of north Shropshire up to the border with Wales and immediately surrounding the base north of Shrewsbury.
