A MOBILE home on fire close to farm buildings had to be tackled by Cheshire firefighters in Malpas on Sunday, it has emerged.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) firefighters from Audlem and Nantwich were joined by one crew from Whitchurch at around 1.20pm on Sunday, March 31.
A spokesman for CFRS confirmed that Shropshire fire helped deliver water to the scene in Whitchurch Road off the A49.

They said: “Firefighters were called to a mobile home on fire, close to farm buildings.
“They used two hose reels to extinguish the fire, which had spread to one of the nearby buildings. Colleagues from Whitchurch also attended to help shuttle water to the area.
“Crews needed to cut away parts of the building to deal with hot spots of fire and were in attendance for around two and a half hours.”
