A Shropshire restaurant has been listed for the first time in the 360 Eat Guide for 2024, the only one in the county to do so.
As well as being listed in the 360 Eat Guide for 2024, receiving two circles for sustainability, Wild Shropshire has also been shortlisted for the National Restaurant Awards, where it received similar praise as it is nominated in the sustainability category.
Wild Shropshire was awarded a rating of 81-85P in the Eat Guide and were described as “ambitious, consistent and purposeful”, by the guide which aims look beyond the plate, considering both the gastronomic experience and sustainability of what’s served.

The restaurant is one of only fourteen outside London to have been listed and receive the two circles award or above, with only four restaurants nationwide achieving the three circles distinction.
Founder, chef and owner, James Sherwin, said: “The whole team are absolutely delighted to have been included in the 360 Eat Guide for 2024.
“It was a rigorous process to be selected including a three-hour interview from the 360 team.
“We're one of only 17 restaurants awarded at the two-circle level which proves that we are delivering on our ambition of offering sustainable, great tasting gastronomy in North Shropshire.”
Wild Shropshire were also shortlisted in the sustainability category of this year’s National Restaurant Awards.
The awards are the largest annual gathering of top chefs and restaurateurs in the UK, with over 500 people from across the UK restaurant industry gathering for the celebration in 2023 for celebrations and networking.
On being shortlisted in this award, Mr Sherwin, said: "We are delighted to be shortlisted once again for this prestigious award celebrating sustainability.
“Wild Shropshire restaurant is centred around nature and the changing seasons. We take pride in offering a menu that is deeply rooted in Shropshire, showcasing micro-seasonal ingredients influenced by the unique climate, soil, and environment of the region.
“This approach reflects our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and fostering a more sustainable planet. Being recognized for our achievements in these areas is truly rewarding."
The winners of the National Restaurant Awards will be announced on Monday, June 10, in London’s Docklands.
