Police are appealing of information after the shop of an Apprentice contestant was burgled this weekend in Whitchurch.

West Mercia Police have appealed for witnesses and CCTV after there was a break in an Raven Yard Antique Shop on Watergate Street in the early hours of Saturday (June 7).

The shop is run by town councillor and former contestant on the BBC’s the Apprentice, Gregory Ebbs.

Raven Yard Antiques is run by the Ebbs family and hosts a whole number of rare and exotic items.

The business is a specialist in military antiques and prides itself on its thriving e commerce business.

According to the shop's website, "Raven Yard Antiques is a family business offering antique enthusiasts the opportunity to find and purchase an incredible range of historic objects.

"We are collectors in our own right and strongly believe each and every antique in our possession tells a story. We have over 2000 objects and are always on the hunt for new and interesting items."

However the shop has now become the target of a break in.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Sometime between 3am and 5am on Saturday the June 7 there was a break in at the Raven Antique Shop on Watergate, Whitchurch.

“If you have any information, CCTV within the areas or possibly were about at that time in the morning and saw four people walking along Watergate Street, Mill Street or Wrexham Road between those times then please get in touch.”
