FIREFIGHTERS in Cheshire had to give first aid on scene at a crash in Malpas on Wednesday afternoon.
One Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) engine was sent to Cholmondley Road in Malpas at around 3pm after reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a van.
A CFRS spokesman confirmed the action taken by firefighters when they arrived at the scene.
They said: “A road traffic collision involving a car and a van was attended by firefighters.
The crew gave first aid and made the scene safe.
“Police also attended the incident.”
