Fire crews and a vet had to rescue a horse after it got stuck in exercise equipment.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service crews were called out to Ash Road in Whitchurch this morning (July 2).
Three crews from Wellington and Whitchurch were called to the scene along with a vet after a horse fell on its side in a horse walker.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 08.44am on Tuesday, July 2, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Whitchurch.
“Three fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.
“Also at the scene of the incident was a vet.
“A horse was on its side in a horse walker. One large horse rescued using animal rescue equipment, and left in the care of the vet.”
