THE Whitchurch branch of an international women’s group has given its support to an organisation helping victims of domestic abuse.
The Inner Wheel, in Whitchurch, recently heard from the Shropshire Domestic Abuse Service who outlined the support they give to victims and what work is carried out helping them.
Tricia King, from the group, said members came together to support the group with donations.

She said: “For a number of years, the Inner Wheel Club of Whitchurch has supported the Shropshire Domestic Abuse Service.
“At our July meeting a representative from north Shropshire gave an informative and interesting talk about this emotive subject.

“She outlined the support and help that is provided to women and men of all ages throughout the country from the immediate point of contact through until victims no longer need assistance and safety.
“Our members have worked together to make a donation of 128 items to this worthwhile cause and we will continue to support the SDAS in the future.”
