Fire crews were called out to rescue a horse from a brook near Whitchurch.
Teams from three separate stations were called out to Sandford near Whitchurch after a horse got trapped in a brook.
Crews were rushed to the scene yesterday evening (July 17) and had to use specialised equipment to rescue the animal.
The crews had to use harnesses to get the horse free and back to safety.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 6.46pm on Wednesday, July 17 Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Whitchurch.
“Two fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Baschurch, Wellington and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.
“Attending crews used lifting & animal harnesses, straps.
“One male horse was rescued from brook using animal rescue gear.”
