WITH the Greatest Show on Earth about to beam live into our living rooms from Paris, one group of knitting rebels have struck again to bring about some Olympic spirit.
The Ellesmere Yarn Bombers have carried out one of their biggest projects yet by making bunting out of wool carrying the flags of all the nations competing in the 2024 Olympic Games this week.
And they have also created the five Olympic rings and spread them out in Cross Street, over tourist boards, between and around trees, and even park benches.

The brilliant group, who decorate the town each year with a new theme, have left a podium on the bench plus swimmers and sprinters doing loops around trees.
Visitors to the town over the weekend were left delighted by the brilliant visuals of the Olympic rings in the town.
