A CHILD and a dog had to be released from a car by Shropshire firefighters in Whitchurch on Wednesday morning.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) firefighters from the town’s station were sent to Tilstock Lane at around 8.15am.
There, firefighters were asked to release both the child and the dog from the car using small gear.
A stop message was sent to SFRS control at around 8.30am confirming no further support was required.
