The final Scarecrow Trail competition in Wem wrapped up last week.
The trail was launched by a group of friends in 2020 to encourage community spirit and fundraise for charities in the area.
The initiative, though impacted by falling participation yearly, will continue with its popular Christmas Themed Wheelbarrow Run in December.
The group said: "This year, we had 18 quality scarecrows, and have raised £930 so far."
- Popular pub and hotel in Ellesmere put for up for £1.5m sale
- Crown court trial for north Shropshire man accused of assaulting woman
- Organiser of new Whitchurch art exhibition says 2025 day 'definitely happening'
Proceeds will benefit 'A Bear Named Buttony', a charity helping young people after stoma surgeries.
The group also added: "We cannot thank the local community enough for the support they have given us over the last years".
Judged by locals, the top prizes went to The Orchard's 'Worzel and Aunt Sally'; 41 Windmill Meadow's comical 'The Lazy Gardener'; and the best child submission, 'Beach Invasion' at 10 Trentham Close.
