A NEW loyalty scheme to help breathe new life into Whitchurch’s shopping scene has been launched by a business group.
The move was launched by the recently-reformed Whitchurch Business Group which launched the new loyalty scheme for residents and visitors.
This initiative, says the group, aims to bolster local commerce through exclusive offers and discounts from more than 20 businesses.

Stella Ashbrook, from MOO and BOOM in Green End, is on the business group and says the scheme was launched to tackle issues for shops in the town.
She said: “We recognise the challenges faced by our high street, especially following the closure of the Civic Centre, which served as a central hub for the community.
“Our loyalty scheme is a proactive step towards ensuring our local shops thrive and remain integral parts of Whitchurch's vibrant landscape.”
Joining Stella on the newly-appointed governing body is Sharon Marriot, from Make Yourself a Home in White Lion Meadow, Julie Crank from Wagstaffs, and Shell Galluzzo from WillowBox.
Stella added: “The group has worked diligently to create a program that benefits both consumers and businesses alike.
“With the group's membership exceeding 53 local businesses, the loyalty scheme promises a range of exciting deals, including up to 10 per cent off purchases, buy-one-get-one-free offers, and more.”
Residents and visitors can easily join the loyalty scheme by visiting www.visitwhitchurchshropshire.co.uk or by scanning the QR code displayed in participating shops.
Stella added: “The website and QR code will provide information on current offers available throughout the week, month, and year.
“The initiative comes as part of a broader effort to prevent the decline of the high street and maintain Whitchurch as an attractive destination for both locals and tourists.”
Sharon Marriott added: “Our town has a rich history and a unique character that we are proud of. We want to see our businesses flourish and remain an essential part of the community.
