A CHMINEY fire on Sunday prompted Whitchurch firefighters to be called out to a property in the town.
One Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crew from the town was called to Talbot Street at 3.40pm after reports of a chimney fire.
A SFRS spokesman confirmed firefighters were required to take action.

They said: “Crews used small gear to tackle the fire.
“There was a report of a chimney fire involving a log burner.”
A stop message was sent to SFRS control at around 70 minutes later to confirm no further support was required.
