FIREFIGHTERS had to free a person from a lift in Whitchurch on Sunday, a second similar incident in as many weeks.
One Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crew from Whitchurch was sent to St John’s Park after reports that someone was locked inside a lift at around midday.
Firefighters from the station were called to the same home on August 28 after a similar incident.

A SFRS spokesman confirmed the action taken.

They said: “Crews used small gear to tackle the incident.
“One person was released from the lift.”
A stop message was sent to SFRS control at around 15 minutes later to confirm no further support was needed.
