WINCHING was needed to remove a car outside Whitchurch on Saturday morning after it collided with the safety barriers.
Two Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crews from Wem and Markey Drayton were called to the Prees Heath roundabout at around 8.15am.
They were called after reports of a car coming off the road close to the Raven Hotel and truck stop area.

A SFRS spokesman said that crews took action to move the car while an operations officer was in attendance.

They said: “Crews used small gear and winches while police were also at the scene.
“It was a road traffic collision involving one car having left the roadway following a collision with roadside safety barriers.”
A stop message was sent to SFRS by firefighters on scene to confirm no further support was needed at around 8.40am.
