FIREFIGHTERS were called to an incident on the North Wales and Shropshire border on Monday night (September 30).
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crew was sent to Bronington, near Whitchurch, at around 8.20pm following reports that people were trapped inside a vehicle following a road traffic collision.
Firefighters from Whitchurch were sent to the scene to provide support to colleagues from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS).

A stop message was sent to SFRS control around 20 minutes after arrival to confirm no further support was required from the Shropshire side.

A SFRS spokesman confirmed that no action was required from Whitchurch firefighters.

They said: “The incident involved one saloon car which was involved in a road traffic collision.
“The driver had self-extricated themselves out of the vehicle.”
The spokesman also went on to confirm that Whitchurch firefighters did not need to use any equipment during the call.
