Whitchurch Little Theatre is putting the finishing touches on a new production.
The local stage group is in the final rehearsal stages of Alan Ayckbourn's play Life and Beth, which they will perform at The Talbot Theatre, within Whitchurch Leisure Centre.
The play is set during Christmas time, revolving around the character Beth Timms, mourning her recently deceased husband, Gordon.
Providing support to Beth are her sister-in-law Connie and son Martin, but their good intentions soon spiral into chaos, thanks to Connie's drinking and Martin's emotionally volatile girlfriend, Ella.
The only solace for Beth comes from David, the local vicar, who unwittingly brings back Gordon as a ghost while offering his condolences.
Gordon, now in the afterlife, wishes to help Beth, but his return could complicate matters further.

The cast includes Sarah Radford, Jenny Matthews, Scott Radford, Adam Williams, Cat Taylor, and Mike Matthews, under the direction of Katie Wainwright.
The play's run starts on Tuesday, October 22, and will run until Friday, October 25, with each performance commencing at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the first night are priced at £10, with subsequent performances at £12.
