TWO north Shropshire pubs will be taking part in a donation drive for advent calendars and selection boxes in the build-up to Christmas.

The community project is being organised by Proper Pubs, which is part of Admiral Taverns, for 24 of their hostelries to receive donations from patrons for the snack packs which will then be sent out to charities in the pubs’ areas.

The Boars Head in Willow Street, Oswestry, and Watergate, in Whitchurch, will be accepting donations.
