A JCB on fire close between Oswestry and Shrewsbury prompted Shropshire firefighters to be called out on Thursday.
Two Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crews from Baschurch and Shrewsbury were sent to Myddle, close to Wem, at around 11.45pm.
A spokesman for the service confirmed that action was taken to put out blaze on the JCB loader.
